Welcome to the ASU Library Community Driven Archives! We are a team of archivists, volunteers, and student archivists working to educate, equip, and empower underrepresented communities (Black Americans, Asian Americans, Latinx Americans, and the LGBTQ+ community) to preserve their family and community histories. We are also dedicated to advocacy work for these groups within the university and within the broader Arizona community. For more information and to view our collection repositories, please click the arrow icon on the home page to visit our website or the message icon to visit our blog.Because of the current COVID-19 pandemic, we will be hosting all of our events virtually and invite individuals from across the country to join in our events and take back the power of archiving and storytelling. We as librarians and archivists feel it is our duty to educate and inform the public about social and political issues that impact the communities we work with and are a part of. While we may not necessarily agree with everything we offer here as an outside resource, we feel it is our obligation to provide this information for those who may be searching for it as a part of our mission to educate and empower.
Pandemic Resources
The links below are all additional organizations or resources we have included as a part of our continuing efforts to help individuals disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, especially BIPOC, LGBTQ+ individuals, and low-income individuals.
Educational Resources
Below are links to organizations, websites, and accounts that focus on educating, advocating for, and empowering the same underrepresented communities as us. We have included these links to help anyone who would like to educate themselves on issues of racism and homophobia/transphobia in the archives and in the broader world.

Below are links to resources that center the health and wellness of BIPOC.
